My final Yu-No post. This is a collection of all the endings and extras from my post-completion stream.
I'm sad to see this game go. It is the game that brought me here in the first place, and it's an amazing story, a huge influence on the visual novel genre and it's been an absolute joy(stick) to share this story with all you wonderful people. This has been such a nice community, and I thank you all for welcoming me!
We will be starting a new visual novel in two weeks (I'm having next Tuesday off) but it will probably be an SFWish one. I'm still torn between Never7, Higurashi and Steins:Gate. I do absolutely intend on doing more NSFW PC-98 visual novels in the near future. Eve: Burst Error and Dokyusei both look really good and carry a similar significance as Yu-No, and I am, of course, open to recommendations!
Anyway, here's the happy endings that unlock at the end of each route:
- Ayumi
- Mio
- Kanna
Extras (non-canon)
- Music Room
- Go, Sayless! (part 2)
- Eririn's Private Lesson
- Kanna's Hint Corner
- CG Dojo

(Part 14) Yu-No - A girl who chants love at the bounds of this world
We finally finished the true ending, then made a start on the extras.
Unfortunately joystick went down during the end credits so there is an extra break there, sorry about that.
If you don't want to watch me attempting to speedrun through the old plot for the extras and just want to see the endings, you'll want these videos:
True ending: 1, 2, start of 3
Ayumi extra ending: start of 5
Kanna extra ending: start of 7
There will be one more Yu-No stream which will be Mio's extra ending, followed by the side stories and extras from the SP disc, then it's on to my next visual novel. I'm torn between three possible choices, so let me know which you think I should do next:
Never 7: The end of infinity - I've talked a lot about how Uchikoshi borrowed from Yu-No when he made Zero Escape, and I have already streamed the second VN in his "Infinity" series - Ever 17 - and it was great! Never 7 is the first VN from this series
Higurashi: When they Cry - I don't know much about it other than murder mystery on an island and it later spawned an anime which I haven't watched
Steins;Gate - You'd have to have been living under a rock for the last 15 years to not know about Steins;Gate. Fortunately I pretty much have been. I haven't watched the anime and barely know anything about it other than it involves time travel and is apparently really good

(Part 13) Yu-No - A girl who chants love at the bounds of this world
Some major plot reveals this week, but also some very uncomfortable themes.
I'm now on holiday for FFXIV FanFest, next Tuesday's stream will depend on how exhausted I am when I get back

Stronger content warnings this week than last. Once again I've put them in an image at the end of the post so you can decide if you wish to view them or not.

(Part 11) Yuno - A girl who chants love at the bounds of this world
I thought this was going to be the finalé, but it seems this game still has a lot more, holy crap this story is good!
Content warnings for this week are stronger than last week but, unfortunately, are also major story spoilers. I've posted them in an image so you can decide whether or not you want to see them

I now have Beat Saber song requests working here on Joystick!
I'm also able to get realtime performance data (e.g. hit/miss) into VNyan, which happens to have lovense integration
I feel like I should combine these into a spicy Beat Saber challenge 🤔 just need to work out a good ruleset
Suggestions welcome :3

(Part 10) Yuno - A girl who chants love at the bounds of this world
Content warnings: This part of the story opens with one of the cast being assaulted at knifepoint. While this doesn't result in SA the framing suggests that it might. It also has a plotline about a character forced into sex work

(Part 8) Yuno - A girl who chants love at the bounds of this world
Content warning: This part of the story includes an extremely creepy middle aged dude and implies he's in an exploitative relationship with one of the 18 yr old women in this game, a character who is in a very vulnerable living situation. This is only expressed through conversation and the game makes clear that it is not ok, however this may still be distressing for some viewers.

If you only care about the plot and don't want to watch me struggle with this puzzle for literally an hour, then skip directly to video #3!
In video #5 I find myself having the bring up the flowchart and speedrun one of the other timelines to get a missed item. If you're only interested in the plot then at this point you can skip directly to #7. We did have some nice chats here though :3
