NEWS PART 2: What we're getting at with this 2-part post because of character limits is this.

Suggestions for games to look at acquiring and playing in the future are open. All that you need to do is post a comment with one or more titles.
However, THESE ARE OUR RULES:

1) No children in regular involvement of gameplay. See part 1 of this news.
2) No PvP games. David is not a competitive-level gamer, and the rest of us are bad sports. (Leaderboards are bad, m'kay?)
3) Souls-likes are at our discretion. We have no love for them, even if they are good games.
4) It is preferred to not suggest a bad game, but obscure or forgotten games are fine.
5) Adult games are also fine, but please keep them to gay/male games. It's the preference of the NSFW-willing parts of the system.

Meanwhile, we're considering setting up a schedule and getting other work done until the next stream day.

NEWS: We're working on editing the stream's design to accommodate for adding tip goals and tips menu, as well as optimizing screen placement of things. Lovense integration will go along shortly afterward. Our co-front in graphic design isn't super fond of his current/recent "low-effort approach" that we've been using, and decided that, because of tips/Lovense integration, the screen needs a rework.

Plox: I kind of want to keep the wooden and wall-frame style look. A lot of streamers use designs that are very techy or sparkly or both. Depending on the streamer, it can be eye-catching or garish.

Argos: Totes fine. You want a more modest look because of our unusual approach to the stream, I take it.

Plox: Yeah. Something like what we've been using is fine, but if you need to reposition things for space, go ahead!

Argos: Hmm...probably give it a bit more of an office look? Like actually taking time to shade...

Streaming schedule has been pulled for this week, but that doesn't mean we won't be streaming!

David's had a cold this weekend, which wasn't a fun experience, and we're also waiting on some stuff to come around.

NEWS PART 1: Needed a couple days away from a list that expanded bit too rapidly. VOD clipping is still ongoing.

We might not go back to streaming Wuthering Waves, because of character presences that are discouraged or easy to look down on. Consider it part of Joystick's rules, not ours. This is what has us wondering if the Wuthering Waves stream was cut off prematurely because of imagery that could have been mistaken for underage. Could have also been having internet problems, but we'll err on the side of caution.
TL;DR -- No children in "fanservice". Ever.

Streaming will resume at our earliest opportunity, most likely tomorrow, but we don't want to step over a line in the rules, and especially not so early into being approved for streaming.

Having said that, we're at an impasse on what games would be safe to stream on Joystick. We would like to avoid titles that involve children or child-like appearances, which means that even Monster Hunter is on thin ice. Thanks, Yomogi.

Didn't want today's stream to get cut short like that, but I might as well call it for tonight at this point.

I've recorded enough that I should have a small gallery of gameplay VODs soon after I pick up working on those. Might do that tomorrow, so I won't be on stream that day!

NEWS POST:

VODs of yesterday's stream are in the works. They're still a bit too big to upload even after the first trim, but they'll be uploaded.

Today's stream will be FF7 Rebirth. Starting to think the game doesn't like being run in Fullscreen because some story progress has been made so far (since the crashing as the Nibelheim flashback was ending last night) which will explain the skip ahead from when we stopped. Bunch of exploratory fuckery and plodding the plot along meanwhile.

Tomorrow, depending on when off work and back home, will either continue the FF7R saga on PC, or a swap between the following:

Wuthering Waves
Monster hunter World
Phantasy Star Online

P.S. -- No, we will never get a PS5. Devs need to learn to get their head out of their ass when it comes to a smooth experience for game ports. Rift Apart ported from PS5 just fine, Squeenix has no excuse. The game's performance on PC will "hurt sales" more than they think. That is my personal take on it.
