No stream today — an adventure in neurodivergent rabbit holes
I spent today at the coffee table with polymer clay, a foil-lined baking sheet, and increasingly strong opinions about cling wrap.
I'm building a 1/6 scale physical BJD version of my bear 'sona. Today: hands, feet, and a head underlayer. The hands came out pretty well. The head taught me that cling wrap pressed tight against a clay core doesn't release — it just becomes another layer. The cut to separate the halves required a straight line, which, it turns out, I cannot do freehand on a curved surface.
Lessons logged. Extra clay purchased in advance for exactly this reason. Tomorrow we try again with a foil core and a guide for the cut.
