I'm 18 and being tiny is honestly less glamorous than people think. Nothing fits without alterations. I climb on the kitchen counter to reach my favourite tea. And somehow everyone has an opinion about how small I am🥺
The guys my age barely noticed me. I used to spend ages getting ready and then come home wondering why I had bothered. That's embarrassing to admit even here.
After I turned 18 I met a college professor at a friend's birthday. Older. Tall enough that I complained about my neck when we talked. He laughed and pulled up a chair🥰
We stayed there for most of the evening.
He remembered things I said. Asked questions and waited for the whole answer. When he told me I was beautiful I actually believed him. I went home feeling like a woman someone wanted to get to know. I still remember what I wore.
Things ended eventually. I kept the confidence he helped me find.
And apparently I kept a weakness for mature men too😈
