Hope all my good boys (and girls) are doing well. Sorry I missed Sexy Story Time last night. I’m sick, and my throat’s all scratchy. It hurts to talk too much. Unfortunately, there’s no podcast tonight either, since Welshy is also sick and Elements has a scheduling conflict. Everything should be back to normal next week. If I’m feeling up to it, I might try to stream later tonight. I just wanted to update anyone who’s interested. So, all three of you, lol. PART 1:
Who’s my GOOD BOYS (and Girls) — hope you’re all doing well.
To the five people who actually read these updates: thank you, seriously. And sorry in advance for the long post — I just have a lot to share. I’ve broken it down by topic, so feel free to skip to whatever part interests you most. Let’s get into it.

BAD NEWS FIRST:
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to stream today like I had originally planned. If you’re a fan of percentages like I am, here’s where we stand:

95% chance I’ll be back by July 6th, if everything goes smoothly.
5% chance it’ll be delayed until September 8th, if things don’t.
Either way, I promise I’ll be 100% back by September 8th at the latest.

Thank you all so much for your patience and support. It means the world to me. I love you guys. I’ll still be around on Discord and popping into other streams to support friends. If I feel up to it, I might even do a surprise stream or two while I’m on break.

PART 2:
A little context: injuring my back really threw off my routine. I couldn’t make it to the gym, couldn’t go on walks with the dogs, and honestly, I couldn’t get out of my own head for a while. My back’s doing better now, but that downtime gave me space to reflect on a lot — not just my stream, but my life in general. What’s working, what’s not, and what I want to improve.

“SEXY TIME” STUFF:
I’ve always been what people consider "thin and attractive" — yeah, boo hoo, right? I know how that sounds. Bear with me a moment. I am trying to be open with you guys.
Right now, I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. And when a big chunk of your self-worth has been (unhealthily) tied to how you look, any change in that can really mess with your head. It’s been messing with mine — even before the injury.

PART 3:
That’s where a lot of my hesitation around doing “sexy time” content has come from.

Honestly, I’d love nothing more than to have a full-on jerk-off night where we edge together and have a good time. But right now, mentally, it doesn’t feel right. I’m working through it.
The good news? I’m back in the gym. I want to rebuild my confidence and come back ready to give you a show you deserve. So thank you for your patience and understanding on that too.

STREAM UPGRADES:
While I’m away, I’ll be working behind the scenes to improve the stream — I want to take it to a more professional level.

That means:
• A consistent stream and post schedule
• A cleaner, more exciting tip menu
• Upgrades to the Discord so it feels more like a place to hang out, not just a server

PART 4:
I originally set out to build a community, and somewhere along the way I lost sight of that. I want to get back to that goal. If you have suggestions or things you want to see added to the stream, feel free to DM me. I’d love your input.

I always joke about being the worst streamer on Joystick — but I’d like to take a shot at being one of the best. Top 10, maybe? GOALS.

GAME DEVELOPMENT — POKÉMON FAN GAME UPDATE:
Big shift here. I’ve decided to scrap the Pokémon fan game in favor of creating my own original IP, based on some wise advice from Jack. He said something that really stuck with me:

“If you’re going to put all this work into a game, why risk it getting shut down when you could be building something that’s truly yours?”

He’s right — we’ve all seen what Nintendo does to fan projects.

PART 5:
So I’m making something original now.

The good news: all the cool systems I talked about for the fan game? They’re staying. The game will still feature streamers and viewers from Joystick as characters — they’ll just be something new (not gym leaders anymore).

ORIGINAL GAME IP:
I’m designing my own world, creatures, mechanics, and lore — all from the ground up. I’m teaching myself coding and leveling up my pixel art skills, all in hopes of making something I can eventually launch on Steam.

Once I’m back on stream, I’ll be sharing design breakdowns and doing live development. If you enjoy watching the game dev process, you’re gonna love it.

PART 6:
During my break I’ll be focusing on the “bones” — the coding, systems, and backend — so that when I return, we can focus on art, level design, and testing, which will be fun to do with you guys.

LIGHT NOVEL SERIES:
Alongside the game, I’ve started writing a light novel series that will serve as a companion story. It covers the history and world events leading up to the game’s timeline.
If you’re into lore and storytelling, or if you’d be interested in being a test reader (and don’t mind reading through multiple drafts), please let me know. I’d really appreciate outside perspective.

ANIME PODCAST:
This is still happening! We’ve been recording episodes, and once we have enough backlog, I’ll launch the podcast across all major platforms.
